The entrance foyer of one of our projects at Vasant kunj, Delhi is designed in an Indian contemporary style with a backlit chinikhana wall (small niches) inspired by old Rajasthani fort entrances where they used to light diyas in these niches. A large flower motif in the centre of the foyer in white statuario, black marquina and yellow Jaisalmer stone to give a little sense of excitement and vibrancy to the space, while the Flooring is done in grey william Italian stone which compliments the black and white flower motif. The design is infused with a tinge of art deco style in the form of wall panelling, a curved entranceway to the vestibule and an exotic sun ray veneer which is visible as soon as one enters through the main doorway.

The main Living room is a colorful extravaganza with Paintings by M.F Husain (The grant artwork) And Ganesh Pyne inset in large arched colourful niches with Ionic flutings in the backdrop, Flooring in Grey William Italian stone with Black Marquina marble strips and brass inlay on either side of the strip running along the perimeter of the room, and a mix of furniture with Grey, Red and Green velvet upholstery. The centre table is proposed in two options, with a Jaisalmer stone top or a bronze top, and a blue carpet with Jaipur rugs below the table, a tinge of art deco style is infused with Indian contemporary style all around the house.

The second living room (the informal living room) is a mirror of the main living room structured in the same manner as the main living room yet different from the other in terms of the spatial arrangement, where there is a tv unit between the dining and informal living which doubles up as a book shelve, while the color selection in this section is kept a bit more vibrant and informal, with burgundy colour carpet by Jaipur rugs and velvet upholstered sofa and chairs. Paintings are a bit more traditional and vibrant in this section. Abutting the informal living area is the dining area. A special feature that has been incorporated in the tv unit is that the tv can be rotated 360 degrees and can be enjoyed in the dining area as well.

Vasant Kunj E1 is a new residential area currently under construction, covering an area of 4000 sqm. This upcoming neighborhood is designed to offer luxurious and comfortable living spaces to its residents, with top-notch amenities and facilities.
